Agriculture in Honduras
Honduras depends on Agriculture as one of its top economic areas (the US buys half of their exports so they rely heavily on our country). The biggest exports include bananas, coffee or coffee beans, sugar cane, maize (corn), and pineapple. It also employs about 40% of the working population, but statistics show that number is decreasing each year. However, if you have items that you grow on your own land and sell it, those numbers are not known and is figured to be a huge part of non-reported income that their government does not have accurate data.
